Two vehicles collide with houses after Dartmouth crash

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WLNE) — Two vehicles crashed into houses after a collision at an intersection in Dartmouth on Monday afternoon.

The Dartmouth Police Department said officers responded to the intersection of Alpha Street and Sharp Street at 3:10 p.m. for a report of a crash with injuries.

Police Chief Brian Levesque said a car driven by a 59-year-old woman hit a pickup truck operated by an 89-year-old man.

The collision caused the truck to drive through a fence, hitting a home twice, with the car also veering off into a separate house.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with apparent minor injuries, according to Levesque.

Dartmouth police are investigating the crash.
