WARREN, R.I. (WLNE) — Two teenaged boys were arrested for breaking into vehicles and stealing items from the vehicles — one of those items was an urn.

The Warren Police Department told ABC6 that two Warren boys, 15 and 16-years-old, were stopped by officers around 1:45 a.m., on Jan. 19., while paroling the area for reported vehicle break-ins.

Upon being taken into custody, the teenagers were in the possession of stolen personal items, including an urn.

Officials shared that most of the items have been returned to their rightful owners.

Both of the juveniles were turned over to their parents and are to be petitioned into family court.

The teens are being charged with receiving stolen goods, obstruction, and a weapons other than firearms charge.
