A demolition crew was working at 191 Westmister st. when one of the roofs in the building came crashing down on two men.
Battalion Chief Jeffrey Varone says the crew was gutting the building for partial demolition when the collapse happened around 3 p.m.
The building is vacant; no one was there except for workers.
Officials say they don’t know yet who owns the building but the building inspector and OSHA are investigating the incident.
Emergency crews have cleared the scene, and authorities put up a sign on the building saying the building has been condemned, and work is not to be continued.
Officials confirm one of the workers had severe injuries.
