Two years later, North Providence PD seek information in murder of retired nurse

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Providence Police Department is asking for public assistance to help solve the two-year-old murder case of 61-year-old Claire Flynn.
In a statement, North Providence police asked for information from anyone who might have had contact with Flynn in 2023, especially in November.
“Detectives are interested in any details regarding her personal relationships, daily routine, or places she frequently visited,” said the statement.
“If you have any information, even the tiniest detail, you are urged to come forward. Tips can be provided anonymously.”
Flynn, a retired nurse, was found deceased on December 20, 2023 in her Centerdale Avenue home.
She was found by her brother after she had failed to make contact for an extended period.
Flynn had died from a single gunshot wound.
