Uber, Lyft drivers to rally at Rhode Island State House

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — Uber and Lyft drivers will join the National Day of Action for May Day to demand fair pay and deactivation protections at the Rhode Island State House Wednesday at 10 a.m.

This is part of a nationwide series of rallies including New York, Chicago, Philadelphia and others.

Drivers are part of the 130,000-plus member Justice for App Workers Coalition.
