‘Unknown chemical reaction’ at Amazon in Fall River sends 11 to hospital
FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Police Department said that first responders were dispatched to the Amazon Fulfillment Center for an “unknown chemical reaction” caused by a battery.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Innovation Way and employees were evacuated.
Eleven employees were transported to the hospital.
Police added that the state Hazmat Team was also part of the response.
