UPDATE: The two suspects were found in a vacant building on Almeida Road in Rehoboth at around 9:00 p.m., according to Rehoboth Police.

Robert Dias, 29, and Richard Ferreira 36, both of Fall River, were charged with Breaking and Entering for misdemeanor, Trespassing and Resisting Arrest.

Dias was also charged with Possession of Class A (heroin) and had two outstanding warrants out of New Bedford for Armed Robbery.

Ferreira did not show for his arraignment scheduled for Thursday, so a default warrant was issued. Dias was arraigned and held on $5,000 bail until he is arraigned in New Bedford District Court surrounding his outstanding warrants.

Police were searching for two men who fled their car on Route 195 in Rehoboth Wednesday afternoon.

State Police say at around 4 p.m. a gold Mercedes was being pursued by the East Providence Police Department heading eastbound. EPPD had to stop the search as it reached the Massachusetts line and MA. State Police took over the pursuit.

The Mercedes then approached heavy traffic caused by 2 separate crashes. Witnesses said the Mercedes began backing up on the highway, then attempted to cross the highway median and became stuck in the snow.

State Police said the two occupants fled across the westbound lanes and into the woods.

Mass State Police, the Air Wing Unit, and 2 K-9s and Rehoboth Police were searching for the suspects.
