UPDATE: 30 guns taken from Rhode Island Guns and Ammo in Warwick during break-in

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick Police said approximately 30 guns were taken from Rhode Island Guns and Ammo this morning during a break-in.

According to officials, a call came in around 3 a.m. for a crash at 1175 Post Road.

Upon arrivals, officers observed the entry doors of the business to have been smashed.

Inside the business, multiple gun cases appeared to have been broken into with the contents removed.

30 handguns were taken from the store, according to police.

Warwick Police are actively investigating leads in the case, and no further information will be released at this time.
