UPDATE: Active police scene in Fall River after call of shots fired

FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — A very active police scene has been reported in Fall River, according to Fall River police.

Police confirm they received a call of shots fired in the area of Rock Street late Thursday morning.

A victim was located by police, who was then transported to a local trauma center for treatment.

The Fall River Police Department shared on their Facebook that the area is cleared.

Rock Street to Pine Street will remain closed until further notice.
