UPDATE: Johnston Police locate body of missing 75-year-old

JOHNSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The Johnston Police Department said that it located the body of a missing 75-year-old man around 9 p.m. on Thursday.

A Silver Alert was issued for Allan Hill after he was last seen around 1 p.m. on Brown Avenue, and police believed he was possibly endangered due to physical and/or mental health issues.

Police say Hill was found deceased in a wooded area off of Brown Avenue.

The Johnston Police Department is investigating Hill’s death, though they do not believe that foul play is expected.
