According to North Kingstown Police Department Captain John K. MacCoy Jr., Colen Reck Peters, 68, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, is charged with one felony count of driving to endanger resulting in personal injury.

He was arraigned by a justice of the peace at North Kingstown Police Headquarters and was issued a felony screening date of September 9.

According to Captain MacCoy, North Kingstown police and fire personnel responded to calls of the crash at approximately 4:34 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of West Allenton Road and Route 4.
