UPDATE: Man seriously injured in Providence shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man is in serious condition following a shooting this morning in Providence.

Providence Police were on the scene of a reported shooting on Donelson Avenue.

The report was made around 3:30 a.m. this morning.

Major David Lapatin confirmed that an individual was taken to the hospital with serious injuries but could not confirm if this incident was related to the shooting that happened on Sunday.

There was crime scene tape put up while police were investigating.
