UPDATE: Man shot in both legs at 7-11 in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A man is injured this morning following a shooting near a 7-11.

Providence Police were dispatched this morning to a 7-11 on Cranston Street.

Providence Police said they responded to find a 51-year-old man who was walking down Huntington Avenue when he was shot.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the kneecaps.

He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital.

No suspect has been identified at this time.
