UPDATE: Mass State Police seeking the public’s help locating vehicle of interest in fatal hit-and-run

ATTLEBORO, MASS (WLNE) – The Massachusetts State Police are continuing to investigate the hit-and-run that killed 50-year-old John. E Gauthier on Monday, September 16th.
The department says the hit-and-run happened on the southbound side of I-95, prior to Exit 1 in Attleboro, between 9:30 – 9:45 p.m.
The State Police Detective Unity for Bristol County is looking for a White Cadillac Escalade that likely has front end damage.
Police say the vehicle should have a broken headlight and may be operated by a white female who is believed to be approximately 5’4″ tall and about 160lbs.
Anyone who recognizes the pictured vehicle or has information about the crash is urged to contact Trooper McKelligan of the State Police detective Unit for Bristol County at 508-993-2016.
