UPDATE: PC basketball clinic canceled due to weather

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A free clinic put on by the Providence College basketball teams has been cancelled due to weather. 

The annual youth basketball clinic sponsored by Amica Mutual Insurance has welcomed boys entering the 7th grade or younger, and girls entering the 9th grade or younger that are in the Providence Recreational Summer Program.

Over 200 kids have participated in the annual program in the past.

Throughout the clinic, participants are directed through a series of drills and games to teach basketball fundamentals.
