UPDATE: Providence police identify victims of late night shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Providence Police Department have released the names of the victims involved in the shooting last night on Harvard Avenue.

34-year-old Corey Towns was killed last night in the shooting.

48-year-old Cesar Mason was injured, and is currently in stable condition.

Police responded to the scene of the shooting just before 10 p.m. yesterday.

Police are actively investigating the incident and said there were no suspects as of Thursday.

The shooting marks the fourth homicide of the year for the city of Providence.
