Update: second Providence river homicide suspect held without bail

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A second suspect involved in the homicide of a woman whose body was found in the Woonasquatucket River appeared in court Monday.

Dusti Turner, 35, is being charged with first-degree murder and one charge of conspiracy in the death of 30-year-old Katherine Gascoigne. Turner was held without bail.

Additionally, Turner has been held at the ACI since Feb. 7 on other charges.

Another woman, 34-year-old Aja Lovett, was held on the same charges Friday.

The body of Gascoigne was pulled from the river Thursday around 1 p.m. near Promenade Street.
