Update: Shea High School student to face judge Friday

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A Shea High School student has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with an incident at the school.

Nakai Jackson, 18, will face a judge Friday on those charges.

ABC6 received video from a viewer of the arrest of Jackson.

This video was confirmed by Pawtucket police.

The Pawtucket Police Department said that no weapon was found after a large police presence was brought to the school.

Around 12:30 p.m. a school resource officer was notified that a student was making threats and may have been in possession of a firearm.

An investigation found no weapon.

A spokesperson from the school told ABC6 that there was no harm to students or faculty.
