UPDATE: Woman struck and killed by vehicle on 195 in Westport

WESTPORT, Mass. (WLNE) — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 195 in Westport Monday night at approximately 10 p.m. according to Massachusetts State Police.

The woman exited an unknown vehicle in the breakdown lane on 195 and was walking eastbound when she was struck by a Ford Fusion.

The driver of the Fusion remained on the scene and the driver of the unknown vehicle left the scene.

Both the driver and passenger of the Fusion were not injured.

The woman was determined to be deceased on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
