UPS to hire 150 employees in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- UPS announced Tuesday their plans to hire 150 permanent, part-time employees in the Providence area.

Employees would be responsible for handling packages at UPS sortation hubs.

Eligible employees who are students can earn an additional $25,000 toward college expenses, in addition to hourly pay.

“We’re proud to move our world forward by delivering what matters, and the rapid and ongoing growth of ecommerce coupled with overall demand for our services is creating new part-time opportunities,” said Karsys Hernandez, Director of Human Resources.
