URI College of Pharmacy ranks among nation’s ‘best pharmacy schools’

KINGSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — The University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy proudly announced that they ranked among the top pharmacy colleges in the country.

According to the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, the college’s PharmD program ranked 31 among the 141 pharmacy colleges in the United States.

The program has seen a steady rise through the ranks in recent years.  In 2016, the school ranked number 46, and in 2020, rankings jumped to 40.

The U.S. News & World Report rankings were conducted through peer assessment surveys completed by deans, administrators, or faculty members at accredited degree schools.

Respondents rated the academic quality of programs on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 reflecting outstanding performance.
