URI Parting Ways With David Cox After Four Seasons

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE)- The University of Rhode Island has parted ways with men’s basketball coach David Cox.

ABC6 has confirmed that Cox has been let go after his four year tenure as head coach of the URI Rams.

Cox was an assistant under coach under Dan Hurley for four seasons, and took over the head job when Hurley left.
