US Coast Guard, State Police investigating reported incident off Napatree Point

WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — Rhode Island State Police and the United States Coast Guard are investigating a reported disturbance off the coast of Westerly.

According to officials, a disturbance was called in on a boat off the coast of Napatree Point.

Authorities said police and the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management and police from Westerly are investigating the reported incident.
