Rhode Islander Beisel adds bronze to silver

LONDON (AP) – Rhode Islander Elizabeth Beisel has added a bronze to her silver after coming in third in the 200-meter backstroke at the London Olympics.
    
Beisel posted a time of 2:06.55 in the race Friday, behind Anastasia Zueva of Russia, who had 2:05.92, and fellow American Missy Franklin, who clinched the gold and a world record with a time of 2:04.06.
    
Beisel won silver in the women's 400 individual medley on Saturday.
    
She is from the Saunderstown section of North Kingstown.
    
Friday's race was Beisel's final event in London.
