US Navy awards Electric Boat

The U.S. Navy has awarded a $234 million contract to General Dynamics Electric Boat.
The money will go towards planning yard work, engineering, and technical support for nuclear submarines.
Under the terms of the award, Electric Boat will provide design, engineering, material and logistics support, and research and development activities for active
Electric Boat’s engineering and design organization will be utilized, which is made up of more than 4,000 employees.
