UPDATE: Utility pole cleared from Rt. 6 in Somerset, all lanes reopened

SOMERSET, Mass. (WLNE) — A utility pole that fell across the street in Somerset Thursday morning has been cleared from the road and all traffics lanes have been reopened, said Somerset Police.

A picture posted by the Police Department on Facebook showed a utility pole lying across the street on Route 6 near the Home Depot. All lanes of traffic were blocked off.

Police say as of 11:15 a.m. all lanes have been reopened and the utility pole has been removed from the road.
