Veterans Middle School dismissed after a threatening note was found

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) – Students were dismissed early into the school day on Tuesday after a threatening note was discovered.

The Secretary to the Executive Director of Human Resources at the Warwick Public Schools, Kim Ruggieri, said in a release that the note indicated that there was a bomb threat, and that police are investigating.

The students of Veterans Middle School who take the bus were bused home as usual, and students who do not normally take a bus were brought to Mickey Stevens Ice Rink where they can be picked up.

All students were reported safe.
