Victims in Taunton stabbing spree identified

The victims in a deadly rampage that killed two people and injured four others have been identified.
80-year-old Patricia Slavin was stabbed to death in her home in Taunton Tuesday night after 28-year-old Arthur Darosa forced his way in. Slavin’s daughter was also stabbed and is in critical condition.
Darosa then drove to the Silver City Galleria where he dove his car into the Macy’s department store where he began assaulting people. He them ran to the Bertucci’s restaurant where he stabbed two more people.
George Heath, 56, of Taunton, who was a visual design instructor at was a teacher at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School for the past four years, was fatally stabbed while trying to stop darosa.
An off-duty Plymouth County Sherriff’s deputy finally shot and killed Darosa.
