VIDEO: girl rescues shark on Block Island

BLOCK ISLAND, RI (WLNE) – A brave girl on Block Island was caught on camera rescuing a stranded baby shark.
Ali Twachtman carefully tip-toed over the rocks on the shore of a beach waiting for the perfect moment to catch the shark that was struggling in the surf.
The shark remained calm as carried it to a safer spot to swim. The moment was captured on video by Ali’s father.
