Viewers who watch ABC6 over the air will need to rescan their TV sets

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) – Starting December 1st, Southern New Englanders will have a new home to watch ABC6 programming.

For most viewers there will be no impact. It will be seamless for viewers who receive programming via cable or satellite as well as YouTubeTV, Hulu+ Live, Sling and DirecTV Stream.

Viewers who receive the signal over-the-air will need to re-scan their television sets but will keep access to ABC programming. If you watch ABC6 using an antenna, you will now find programming on digital channel 10.2 instead of 6.1.

WLNE 6.1 for antenna viewers will begin airing Roar programming effective 12/1/25.
