Vigil, funeral planned for four-year-old killed in Woonsocket pedestrian crash

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — This weekend, the 4-year-old girl who was hit and killed by a car in Woonsocket will be laid to rest in West Warwick.

Eliza Khan was killed last month after she and her mother, Dena Khan, were hit by a car outside of Hamlet Middle School.

Eliza’s obituary reads in part:

She’s survived by her two parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Eliza loved to dance and play with her toys.

Her favorite colors were pink and purple.

The Woonsocket community will also hold a vigil Friday at 3 p.m. at city hall.

Donations are being collected for the family.

The community is asked to don her favorite colors.
