Vigil held for North Smithfield man killed in motorcycle crash

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (WLNE) — A candlelight vigil was held for a 20-year-old who died in a motorcycle crash in Woonsocket on Aug. 24.

Joseph Rossi graduated from North Smithfield High School, where the vigil was held on a turf field.

Friends and family of Rossi said they will remember him as a person who brightened up any room he walked into.

“He’s not replaceable at all, nothing can replace his heart and soul,” Rossi’s brother Anthony said.

Rossi would have been 21 in September.
