Vigil held for victims in Woonsocket murder-suicide
WOONSOCKET, R.I. (WLNE) — A vigil was held for the two victims in a murder-suicide that occurred in Woonsocket on Nov. 3.
Flowers and balloons were left on the doorstep of the home of Kimberly Pieranunzi and Donald Roderick, Jr., who were killed by 24-year-old Sean Rivera.
Police said that Rivera had dated Pieranunzi’s daughter and demanded sex from her at gunpoint, though she was able to escape and call police.
Rivera then shot himself.
