Vince Wilfork gives commencement speech at NEIT

Former New England Patriot Vince Wilfork delivered the keynote address at New England Institute of Technology’s commencement Sunday.

The two-time Super Bowl champ and all-star defensive tackle helping the school mark their 75th anniversary.

The number 75 coincidentally, was Wilfork’s jersey number during his 11 year career with the Patriots.

The NFL player accepted an honorary degree for his work with disadvantaged children and families.

During his speech, Wilfork told the more than 1,000 new grads to believe in themselves.

Former Rhode Island governor Phillip Noel also received an honorary degree.
