Voters head to polls in Newport’s District 13 to fill Paiva-Weed seat

NEWPORT, R.I. (WLNE) – Voters in Newport’s District 13 will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots to fill the seat once held by Teresa Paiva-Weed.

They are choosing between Democrat Dawn Euer and Republican Michael Smith.

Paiva-Weed gave up her Senate seat to head the Hospital Association of Rhode Island.
