COVENTRY, R.I. – A Cranston woman has been held as a bail violator after being charged for the second time in a month with robbing a bank.
Shannon Sampson, 27, is facing robbery charges. Warwick Police detained her at the Warwick Mall on Saturday night, before she was transferred to Coventry Police custody.
Police say surveillance images show Sampson robbing the Citizens Bank on Tiogue Avenue. Afterward, witnesses saw her get into the passenger side of a white Hyundai before driving off.
Sampson had been out on bail following an arrest on bank robbery charges in Cranston earlier this month.
She is due back in court March 3.
