Wareham Police arrest man for suspected narcotics possession

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Wareham Police Department arrested a man for allegedly planning to distribute narcotics.

49-year-old Nathaniel Bagge, of Pocasset, was charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute.

The department received a report of an erratic operator on Cranberry Highway who eventually stopped at a gas station.

Officers approached the driver, Bagge, while he was pumping gas, and allegedly “noticed a large plastic bag hanging out of one his pockets.”

Police said a search of Bagge found 200 pills, suspected cocaine, and $9,000 in cash.

Bagge is expected in court on Sept. 30.
