Wareham police seize 14 stolen ATVs, dirt bikes

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) – Fourteen recreational vehicles were seized after a search warrant was executed at a Wareham residence on Wednesday, according to police.

The Wareham Police Criminal Investigation Division, along with Wareham officers, the Wareham Department of Natural Resources, and the Massachusetts Environmental Police, served a search warrant after learning about stolen ATVs and dirt bikes.

Two of the vehicles were identified as being stolen from Fall River and New Haven, Connecticut, and have since been returned to their rightful owners.

Police believe the other 12 ATVs and dirt bikes are also stolen and said they’re seeking the identity of the owners.
