Wareham Police seize narcotics while serving warrants

WAREHAM, Mass. (WLNE) — The Wareham Police Department said it seized “large quantities” of narcotics while serving three warrants against a suspect, his car, and his residence on April 29.

25-year-old Dylan McCoog, of Marion, was charged with Trafficking fentanyl, three counts of possession with intent to distribute Class B subsequent offense, possession with intent to distribute Class A subsequent offense, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery on a police officer.

Police said they allegedly found suspected fentanyl, cocaine, various pills, drug related paraphernalia, and over $65,000 in cash belonging to McCoog.

He was arraigned in Wareham District Court and was held on $20,000 cash bail.

The investigation was assisted by the Marion Police Department, Plymouth Police Department K-9 Unit, and the Plymouth County Sheriff K-9 Unit.
