Warmer But Wetter Late Week
It’s been a gorgeous day across Southern New England, but we have some slow and steady changes heading into the end of the week!
Overnight it’ll be mostly clear with temperatures in the low to mid 50s. Thursday afternoon will be in the low 70s for the coast and the mid to upper 70s inland. Clouds will increase throughout the day. It’ll be slightly more humid as well, especially in the afternoon.
All of those changes are out ahead of our next cold front, which will drive showers on Friday morning with a rumble of thunder possible as well. Highs on Friday will be in the upper 70s and low 80s. It will be another muggy day as well.
A second cold front will bring more showers and the potential for a rumble of thunder Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. Neither day will be a washout… in fact, both days will have plenty of dry time to get outside! Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 70s/low 80s, while highs Sunday will be in the mid 70s.
After the front has passed, cooler, drier air filters in and highs from Monday through Wednesday will be in the low 70s!
