Warmer end to the week!
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed the break of sunshine today! Clouds roll back in late tonight and early tomorrow morning– bad timing considering our total lunar eclipse is tonight/early tomorrow! Totality is between 2:26 – 3:31 AM ET, and if you are absolutely determined to see it, I suggest a little road trip somewhere to our west or northwest (examples include Springfield, MA or Torrington, CT). Temperatures will drop into the low 30s.
Tomorrow (Friday), clouds hang around. That said, with air moving in from the south, we’ll see temperatures get a boost into the mid 50s! Saturday will be ever-so-slightly warmer with highs in the mid to upper 50s. However, we’ll still be cloudy, breezy, and a stray shower isn’t out of the question.
That flow of air from the south really ramps up on Sunday. It’ll be windy and warm, with highs in the low 60s. We’ll keep the clouds around too. Overall, not a terrible day to get outdoors, just not perfectly sunny.
Our next storm arrives late Sunday night. This storm will bring gusty winds and some heavy rain through early Monday afternoon. While it will make the Monday morning commute uncomfortable, it will give us some much-needed rain to quell the otherwise (relatively) dry stretch we’ve had!
