Warmer Wednesday
Wednesday starts off like the past few days- with sunshine and lows in the mid-50s. Much like the past days, we will build in clouds with the slightest chance of showers. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to upper-70s. Overnight tonight we will clear out any clouds and lows will drop into the upper-50s. Thursday marks the change in out overall pattern in Southern New England. It will be a sun-filled and dry day with highs in the 80s and an uptick in humidity. Friday will be the day the temperatures peak well into the 80s and the humidity will be uncomfortable. Into this soupy environment, we will bring a cold front Friday night. As a result, we have the chance of showers and thunderstorms with a few having the potential to be severe. Severe conditions include damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, and torrential rain. The storms clear overnight and both weekend days are looking spectacular! Look forward to sunshine, comfortable humidity and temperatures in the seasonable seventies. Turning the corner into next week, we will see a return to summer-like conditions with heat and humidity.
