Warming back up this weekend

Alright, fall, you’ve had your tease. It’s time to get back to summer!

As an upper-level pushes out of New England, a strong ridge of high pressure will now enter and bring with it some warmer temperatures.

Highs will be near 80 Friday and slightly higher than that into the weekend. The humidity will creep a bit higher each day as well, but nowhere near as uncomfortable as it was earlier this week.

The sun will stick around too. As high pressure slips east on Sunday, a weak front will dig across the Northeast Monday into Tuesday.

Monday is the best chance for a showers and/or thunderstorms. A few showers could linger into Tuesday, but skies will brighten by the afternoon and another nice stretch sets up after that!
