Warming trend into the final week of February

A mild stretch is on the way for Southern New England, but we have to get past one more very cold night out there.

Bundle up if you are heading out this Friday evening. Temperatures will fall into the 20s after sundown and into the teens after midnight.

We have another beautiful sunny day on the way for Saturday, with similar temperatures to today, perhaps a degree or two higher. However, we will also have less wind!

Sunday we should get back to the 40° mark, under a mix of sun and clouds. After a dry and seasonable day Monday, we will make a run at 50° over the course of the midweek!

This is also a very quiet stretch of weather. Out only wet weather over the next week comes in the form of some scattered light rain both Tuesday and Thursday.

Later next week. some colder air looks to build in as we enter into March. We also could see our next potent storm some time next weekend, but let’s enjoy this break in the action!

Have a great weekend.

Geoff
