Warren resident dies in Westport crash

WESTPORT, Mass. (WLNE) — A Warren resident died in a Monday night Westport crash, according to the office of the Bristol County District Attorney.

Zane Martin, 36, died in the incident which took place at approximately 11 p.m. in the area of 591 Horseneck Road.

First responders found an overturned Dodge Challenger at the edge of a wooded area with a single occupant.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle by Westport Fire Department personnel, and Martin was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Massachusetts State Police detectives and the Westport Police Department.
