Warwick FOP to match LAPD donation gift cards up to $500

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Warwick police have some new incentive in their push to get gift cards to LAPD officers in need after the devastating wildfires.

The Warwick Fraternal Order of Police lodge is matching any gift card donation made over the next two days up to $500.

Warwick officers are collecting gift cards for LAPD officers facing significant impacts from the wildfires.

More than 20 active officers have been burned out of their homes.

Warwick police ask that you drop off gift cards at the station, accepting cards for businesses like Target, Amazon, or other stores that sell basics.
