WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — A car show to benefit homeless animals was held in Warwick Sunday morning.

The 14th annual “Cause for Paws” car show featured classic cars, fire trucks, and a raffle, as well as adoptable shelter dogs.

A representative from Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter said 2023 marked their largest year yet, with over 150 registered cars on display and 15 vendors in attendance.

They said all the money raised goes to help animals at the Warwick animal shelter and spay neutering services for people who may not be able to afford it. It also goes to improving the quality of life for the animals in the shelter.

Trophies for the top vehicles were also given out in the pre-2000 and 2000-2023 categories.
