Warwick man accused in fatal Gillette Stadium fight appears in court

WRENTHAM, Mass (WLNE) — A Warwick man accused of being involved in a fatal altercation at Gillette Stadium was arraigned Friday in Wrentham.

Justin Mitchell, 39 appeared in court to answer to charges in connection with the death of Dale Mooney at the stadium during a Patriots game on Sept. 17.

Mitchell was charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct and was ordered to stay away from the victim’s family, witnesses and Gillette Stadium.

He was released on personal recognizance and will appear on March 8 for a pre-trail hearing.
