Warwick man admits to trafficking cocaine that was delivered via U.S. mail

WARWICK, R.I. (WLNE) — Acting United States Attorney Sara Miron Bloom said that a Warwick man was convicted for trafficking two kilos of cocaine.

36-year-old Manuel Jose Miranda was charged with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute cocaine.

Bloom said that U.S. Postal Inspectors intercepted a package addressed for delivery to Miranda’s residence that contained the cocaine in September 2024.

The package was resealed and delivered to Miranda, and he was arrested.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on November 4, 2025.
