Warwick man dies after bicycle accident in North Kingstown
NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The North Kingstown Police Department said a 71-year-old man died after a bicycle accident on July 5.
Just before 11:30 a.m., police responded to the intersection of Potter Road and Essex Road for the accident.
Upon arrival, police found 71-year-old Robert Lamothe, of Warwick, unresponsive.
He was taken to Kent Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Initial investigation shows that Lamothe was alone at the time of the incident.
Police said no other vehicles were involved and there are no “immediate signs of suspicious activity.”
